Elba MTB Lacona is located inside the Residence il Mandorlo, one of the facilities affiliated with Elba Bike Hotels. Like all Elba MTB locations, it is open to both internal and external guests. In a central position on the island, it is ideal for easily reaching all the most beautiful beaches on the island. A well-kept residence managed directly by the owners (Mountain Bike lovers) to always feel at home and among the family.

HISTORY ELBA MTB LACONA

Born in 2012 by Andrea Saielli, owner of the Residence il Mandorlo, it has increasingly developed to include other locations such as Elba MTB Capoliveri and Elba MTB Portoferraio. All Elba MTB facilities work together to provide the best service.

The services offered by Elba MTB Lacona range from the guide service for expert bikers, with routes that go from Gravel to Enduro, to experiences for beginners, available both during the day and at sunset and even at night. There is no shortage of MTB courses (personalized), an efficient Bike-Shuttle service and a vast assortment for the Rental of MTBs, e-bikes and Gravel bikes. The location makes the Mandorlo the ideal starting point for discovering this wonderful island. In our structure you can find apartments and rooms equipped with every comfort, a splendid swimming pool, a small bar where you can be pampered with an excellent breakfast or where you can enjoy an evening aperitif, the little ones have several play areas at their disposal and for bikers everything they need for a true holiday on two wheels.

For Bike Tour enthusiasts, Elba MTB Lacona offers routes suitable for both expert bikers and beginners. Experts will have the opportunity to test themselves on the trails of Monte Capanne and Monte Perone, the scene of the 2024 Italian Enduro Championship organized by ASD Elba Ovest. The Grande Pedalata Elbana (GPE) and the Elba Super Trail are two highly appreciated experiences for expert bikers who want to cross the Island of Elba by MTB, but with different approaches.

The GPE offers a 90 km route with a 2300 m elevation gain, ideal for cyclists who love long rides and are looking for a real challenge; a goal that is not easy to reach in a single day, but extremely rewarding for those who love to test themselves. The Elba Super Trail, on the other hand, uses the Bike Shuttle to allow you to tackle the most difficult trails on the island. This route is particularly loved by enduro riders, who find the technical and demanding descents a real challenge to conquer, even if completing them all in one day is a difficult undertaking.
