Elba MTB Capoliveri Tenuta delle Ripalte is inside this magnificent Resort (Tenuta delle Ripalte) overlooking the sea that extends for over 400 private hectares. The ideal place for a relaxing holiday and to set off on your MTB without ever having to touch the asphalt road, to discover Monte Calamita and the Costa dei Gabbiani.

Inside the Estate, dirt roads extend through over 400 hectares of unspoiled nature and 10 km of wild coastline. Access by motorized vehicles is reserved exclusively for guests of the property, to ensure that they can comfortably reach their accommodations in this large and wonderful natural environment.

A few minutes from the center of the village we can also find the Ginevro Mines: in operation from 1971 to 1981, it was one of the most modern mines in Europe, built with very innovative criteria for the time. Here, magnetite was mainly cultivated, the best iron ore. At the time of the interruption of the mining activity, only 1/3 of the iron deposit had been exploited, available up to 250 meters below sea level and other types of minerals could also be found there: Ilvaite, Garnet, Tourmaline, Epitode.

Our facility (Elba MTB Capoliveri) is right in the center of the Tenuta delle Ripalte, on the lawn in front of the tennis courts, the restaurant, the bar and the swimming pool, the latter services open to all, therefore also to those who are not guests of the accommodation facility. Come and visit us, even just to ask for information, and understand what paradise we are in and what we can offer you, both for those who go by bike and for those who, if they want, stay and wait… maybe on the beach! There is also an excellent Diving Center and the La Bosana Equestrian Center, unique on Elba. The Tennis center is among the most exclusive at an international level thanks to important collaborations such as the Riccardo Piatti Stages which brought a young Jannik Sinner to train within the facility for many years.

From Capoliveri we are easily reachable by bike and also by car, with the possibility of parking and use of the bar for Bike Center customers. By bike from the Bike Park, along paths and dirt roads closed to traffic, you can easily reach the beautiful coves and isolated beaches of the Costa dei Gabbiani and, with a little more effort, the top of Calamita.

Spiaggia di Remaiolo

The Remaiolo tip delimits the beach of the same name, sheltering it from the winds. The wide and private beach is bathed by the sea, from which the Remaiolo rock emerges. Here you can rent umbrellas and sun loungers, as well as canoes, skates and the Diving Center equipment.

Spiaggia del Ginepro

Ginepro beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on Elba Island, composed of dark sand, it guarantees a warm temperature even in the less hot months. Wide and bright, accessible via a steep path that reaches the sea. Behind it a rocky wall, used for climbing.

Spiaggia di Calanova

Calanova Beach enjoys a pleasant location, with promontories covered by Mediterranean scrub and a large pine forest, where you can find some shade on the hottest days. There is also a small pier, for pleasure boating. A place that is not very crowded, but where there is everything you need for a quiet day at the beach: sun loungers, umbrellas, a restaurant and a bar.

Spiaggia di Buzzancone

On this beach you will find transparent and beautiful seabeds, with a lush Mediterranean scrub behind the beach, for a pleasant natural shade on the hottest days. Buzzancone beach is also a very popular destination for yachtsmen.

Spiaggia di Sassi Neri

The Sassi Neri beach is made up of three very similar coves, small postage stamps of beaches created by the waves between the rocks of the now decommissioned mine of the place. Behind it an emerald green lake, surrounded by a beautiful reed bed, for guaranteed privacy.

Spiaggia di Istia

Istia Beach is located next to Calanova Beach. A large and beautiful pine forest behind it allows you to cool off on the hottest days. The beach is mostly made up of medium-sized sand and small stones. There is a small kiosk for the sale of drinks and ice cream and it is the location of the new Sailing Center of the Estate.

Spiaggia dello Stagnone

Stagnone beach is a suggestive bay, characterized by a transparent sea, two small beaches open up. The coves are two small jewels of nature composed of sand and gravel with the presence of some boulders. The northernmost one is surrounded by rocks that create a small and shallow natural pool, “the Stagnone” precisely, a distinctive feature of this corner of Elba.
